If you're drawn to honest, real, unconventional people who will make you laugh, I'm your girl. I have been an artist in some form or another since childhood, but I never dreamed of being a photographer. It was a series of random jobs, happenstance and luck that lead me to my first camera in 1999, and then it was another 5 years before I decided that I would rather be a photographer than a school teacher.
I have been photographing families and newborns full time since 2011 when my super supportive husband, Eric, pushed me to quit my office job. I married that man on a balcony in Jamaica during a hurricane in 2010 and it was the best decision I've ever made. We had our daughter, Penelope, in 2013 and it changed how I see my job in so many ways. I truly love getting to know my couples and families in a way that lets me create photographs that reflect genuine moments of intimacy and joy.
My family recently relocated from sunny South Florida to the charming landscapes of West Tennessee. We made this move in pursuit of experiencing the beauty of the changing seasons, which I have come to deeply appreciate. Check out my new Paris, TN studio HERE!
