Scott and Jayna went to middle school together. She had a huge crush on him all thru high school. Little did either of them know how their story would play out.

They were blessed with a daughter, Ella Pearl, this past January. It was only a few months later when they lost their sweet baby girl to SIDS. While such devastation would tear many people apart, it was through that hardship they both truly realized they were meant to live this life together. As Jayna says, “He is the best part of me, there is no other way to put it.”

“Scottie too Hottie” proposed a few months later during a little housewarming party they had planned. He sent Jayna out for manis and pedis with her sister while he put the entire party together. She returned to find her home filled with both their families, and when it was time to open gifts she noticed there were 20 people and only two presents. Scott knelt down on one knee and opened a box with a gorgeous ring and a tiny picture of Ella inside. “Jayna Key, you’ve blessed me with two great things – your love and our daughter. Will you marry me?” It was a proposal from the both of them, and one she couldn’t refuse. 🙂

As for the wedding day, it was held in a private back yard in Belle Glade on a gorgeous little pond surrounded by their closest friends and family, followed by a reception at the Elks Lodge. And you see that cute little bump Jayna is sporting? They’re expecting another little lady, and I personally can’t wait to meet Ella’s little sister. <3
