I did a quick check of the weather before heading to my first wedding of 2018 and noticed some chilly temps later in the day, so I threw on a dress and grabbed a light jacket for the evening. By the time we arrived in Punta Gorda, the temperature had dropped substantially, the sun disappeared, and I was shivering when the ceremony started. But Paige and Jared were champs. She was in a sleeveless lace gown and you’d never know she was the slightest bit cold as the rest of us huddled around the fire pits and heaters – I don’t know how she did it! And thank goodness for a First Look, because we were able to get the majority of their portraits done early in the day and avoid the bitter cold after the ceremony. Win!

I think my favorite moment of the entire day was during the daddy-daughter first look when Paige’s dad told her, “Jared is one lucky son of a bitch.”
