Kristen and Justin’s tropical Tree House Vero Beach wedding is one I’ll never forget! I have been taking photos for their family in one way or another since 2011. After lots of changes in dates, locations, and overall plans the couple were FINALLY able to celebrate their marriage. “Finally” was a running theme throughout the day.

The Love Story

Kristen says that after seven years and a son together, she was not-so-patiently waiting for Justin to pop the question. He had originally planned a big surprise for her but when life happened it fell through and he ended up asking her on the beach by getting super close and showing her the ring. It took another three years then maneuvering around COVID to fucking finally party and celebrate their love.

Kristen and Justin had reconnected with each other while attending the University of Central Florida. From there, they dated for seven years when they, as Kristen put it, “oops-ed and made a baby.” Their son, Elliott was such a joy to have at the wedding. When he walked down the aisle, Justin cried as soon as he saw him. So sweet!

Kristen says her favorite thing about Justin is his big blubbering heart. He cried not only when he saw Elliott, but before he even turned around for the first look, and during his best man’s toast. Sam even said she “broke him” before the first look when she asked him to talk to the camera about Elliot. To say he has a big heart isn’t enough to explain the love and care he radiates for his family.

Tropical Tree House at Vero Beach

The couple decided on a local and natural Florida vibe for their wedding day and chose the tropical Tree House venue in Vero beach, located on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Tree House is hidden away in a lush tropical palm tree grove giving major local Floridian vibes. The ceremony space is framed perfectly by tropical foliage.

And when it was time for the reception, the Tree House at Vero Beach was not lacking when it came to simple modernity. The space has gorgeous Rattan lighting along with bohemian furniture making for the perfect local vibe Kristen and Justin were in search of! The party venue is close to the beach, but just far enough away for the evening to be personal and special for the wedding celebration.

The Reception

Trust me, Kristen and Justin know how to celebrate. The dance floor got LOTS of love, most notably from Kristen’s dad. He was a delight on the dance floor, and it was a blast to watch him recite every word to “Baby got Back.”

The night ended with a private dance with just Kristen and Justin on the dance floor under an amber light. Upon finishing their intimate last dance, they set out to leave under the sparklers held by all of their friends and family. A beautiful ending to the perfect day!
