Anybody who knows Brianne “Breezy” and Cody knows they share a love of fishing that goes beyond love itself. So it was only natural that we shot their engagement session on the lake, and they got married at her family’s backyard.

In a truly one-of-a-kind unity ceremony, they chose to each set a fish free in the pond. Cody’s wedding band is wrapped in fishing wire. The guys’ boutonnieres were made of fishing lures and succulents. And when it came time for Cody to throw the garter, it was at the end of a fishing line. 

Brianne and Cody released butterflies as a thoughtful tribute to their family members who have passed on.
